Mike Livingston

Dossier
Michael Paul Livingston (born November 14, 1945, in Dallas, Texas) was a quarterback who spent 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs of the AFL and NFL. He played college football at Southern Methodist University under head coach Hayden Fry, where he broke most of Don Meredith's passing records. Kansas City selected him in the second round of the 1968 AFL/NFL draft, 48th overall. During the Chiefs' 1969 championship run, Livingston stepped in when starters Len Dawson and Jacky Lee were injured, starting six games, completing 84 of 161 passes for 1,123 yards and four touchdowns — Kansas City won all six. The Chiefs went on to win Super Bowl IV.
