Mike Milbury

Michael James Milbury (born June 17, 1952) was a defenseman who played twelve seasons in the National Hockey League, all with the Boston Bruins. He played college hockey at Colgate University from 1972 to 1974, serving as team captain his senior year and finishing his career with 61 points and 203 penalty minutes in 76 games. With Boston, he helped the Bruins reach the Stanley Cup Final in both 1977 and 1978. He was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006. After his playing career, Milbury served as head coach and front-office executive with both the Bruins and the New York Islanders.
