Mike Mowrey

Harry Harlan Mowrey (March 24, 1884 – March 20, 1947) was born in Brown's Mill, Pennsylvania. He put together 13 seasons in the majors, his service running from 1905 through 1917, and the St. Louis Cardinals of the National League stand as the club he is most identified with. His full professional career, counting minor-league campaigns, ran 20 years from 1904 to 1923. He was listed at 5'10" and 180 pounds, and he hit and threw right-handed. For collectors, his vintage cardboard footprint is anchored by an appearance in the T206 White Border set, the survey most often consulted when his image is the target. That single-issue presence narrows the chase but also keeps demand concentrated on a known card. He was 62 years of age at the time of his death.
