Milton Stock

Milton Joseph Stock (1893–1977) was a right-handed third baseman who played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1913 through 1926. The Chicago native suited up for the New York Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, Brooklyn Robins, and St. Louis Cardinals. He appeared in 1,628 games, collecting 1,806 hits and 155 stolen bases while posting a .289 career batting average. Stock was part of the 1915 Philadelphia club that won the National League pennant, though the Phillies fell to the Boston Red Sox in five games in the World Series. His best offensive season came in 1920, when he led the National League in games played and at-bats while batting .319.
