Myron Pottios

Myron Joseph Pottios (born January 18, 1939, in Van Voorhis, Pennsylvania) was a linebacker in the National Football League who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, and Washington Redskins. He was selected to three Pro Bowls during his professional career. Pottios attended Charleroi High School in Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he played fullback, center, and linebacker and was part of the 1956 squad that finished with a perfect regular-season record and reached the WPIAL Class AA final. That same year he was unanimously named All-Conference. In 2016, Charleroi Area School District named its stadium in his honor.
