Otto Miller

Otto Miller (1889–1962) was a right-handed catcher who spent his entire 13-season Major League career with Brooklyn, appearing under three franchise names — the Superbas, Dodgers, and Robins — from 1910 through 1922. He batted .245 across 927 games with 231 RBIs and a .973 fielding percentage behind the plate. His best season came in 1920, when he hit a career-high .289 and led National League catchers with a .986 fielding percentage. That same year he appeared in Game 5 of the World Series, where Cleveland second baseman Bill Wambsganss tagged him for the third out in the only unassisted triple play in World Series history.
