P. C. Stevens

P. C. Stevens was a defenseman who played 22 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues, and New Jersey Devils. He served as captain of the Devils from 1992 to 2004, leading the team to four Stanley Cup Final appearances in nine years and winning three championships. Known for his defensive play and physical checking, he won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the 2000 Stanley Cup playoffs. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007 in his first year of eligibility, having played 1,635 games as a defenseman.
