Dossier

Patrick Joseph Alexander "Paddy" Moran (March 11, 1877 – January 14, 1966) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who spent nearly all of his 16-season career with the Quebec Hockey Club, from 1901 to 1917. He briefly played for the All-Montreal HC and the Haileybury Comets during the 1909–10 season. Moran was known for an aggressive crease-protection style, using his stick to deter opposing players and expectorating tobacco juice at challengers. He won two Stanley Cup championships with Quebec in 1912 and 1913. Moran was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1958.
