Pat Hughes

Patrick James Hughes (born March 25, 1955, in Calgary, Alberta) was a Canadian ice hockey forward who played college hockey at the University of Michigan before joining the Montreal Canadiens in 1978. Over his NHL career he also suited up for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, and Hartford Whalers, retiring after the 1987 season. Hughes won three Stanley Cups — with Montreal in 1979 and Edmonton in 1984 and 1985. On January 11, 1983, he set an NHL record by scoring two short-handed goals within 25 seconds, and on February 3, 1984, he scored five goals in a single game.
