Paul Haynes (March 1, 1910 – May 12, 1989) was a Canadian ice hockey forward from Montreal, Quebec who played in the National Hockey League from 1931 to 1941. He appeared for the Montreal Maroons, Boston Bruins, and Montreal Canadiens. After suffering an injury, he was sent on a scouting tour of the West, during which he discovered future stars Elmer Lach and Ken Reardon for the Canadiens. His NHL career ended when Canadiens coach Dick Irvin cut him for skipping practice in New York to attend the opera.
