Pit Lepine

Alfred "Pit" Lépine (July 30, 1901 – August 2, 1955) was a Canadian ice hockey center born in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. He played his entire NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens from 1925 to 1939, appearing in over 500 games and winning Stanley Cup championships in 1930 and 1931. A two-way forward capable of scoring, checking, and working the corners, Lépine still holds the NHL record for most goals in a season without an assist, netting 16 in 1926–27. Following his playing career, he served as head coach of the Canadiens for the 1939–40 season.
