Randy Denton

Randall Drew Denton, born February 18, 1949, is an American former professional basketball player who competed at the center position. He graduated from William G. Enloe High School in 1967 and played collegiately at Duke University, where the 6'10" Denton holds the all-time school record for average rebounds per game at 12.7. He went on to play six seasons from 1971 to 1977 across the American Basketball Association and the National Basketball Association, suiting up for the Carolina Cougars, the Memphis Pros / Tams, the Utah Stars, the Spirits of St. Louis, and the Atlanta Hawks. Over his ABA/NBA career he averaged 11.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
