Randy White

Randall Lee White, nicknamed "the Manster," was an American professional football player who served as a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League from 1975 to 1988. Born January 15, 1953, in the Wilmington, Delaware area, he attended Thomas McKean High School, where he played defensive end and linebacker and is regarded as the best all-time player in the history of Delaware high school football. After graduating in 1971, he was a star in the state's annual Blue-Gold All-Star high school football game, played each year at the University of Delaware stadium to benefit the DFRC and its programs serving Delawareans with intellectual disabilities.

White was recruited by the University of Maryland and played college football for the Terrapins from 1972 to 1974. As a freshman he was used at fullback; Maryland won only two games that season and he did little of note. He moved on during his sophomore year and went on to play in the NFL for the Cowboys across fourteen seasons.

White was inducted into three halls of fame in 1994: the College Football Hall of Fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame.
