Rick Dudley

Richard Clarence Dudley was born January 31, 1949, in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in Port Credit (now Mississauga). He began his professional hockey career with the Buffalo Sabres in 1972–73, spending three seasons in the NHL before joining the World Hockey Association's Cincinnati Stingers in 1975–76. He played four seasons in the WHA with Cincinnati before being traded back to the Buffalo Sabres on February 4, 1979. Dudley remained in Buffalo through most of the 1980–81 season, when he was released and claimed on waivers by the Winnipeg Jets, finishing the year with the last-place club.
