William Milton "Riley" Hern (December 5, 1878 – June 24, 1929) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. Born in Ontario, he played early hockey in St. Marys and Stratford before beginning his professional career with the Pittsburgh Keystones of the Western Pennsylvania Hockey League in 1901–02, earning All-Star recognition after leading the league in wins. He later joined the Portage Lakes Hockey Club before signing with the Montreal Wanderers in 1906–07, posting a 10–0 regular season record in his debut season. Hern became the first professional goaltender to play on a Stanley Cup-winning team, winning the Cup multiple times with the Wanderers.
