Riley Odoms

Riley Mackey Odoms (born March 1, 1950) is an American former professional football player who played tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Houston, where, after seeing limited action in his first two seasons, he broke out in 1971 with 45 catches for 730 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Denver Broncos drafted Odoms fifth overall in the 1972 NFL draft, tying him with Mike Ditka for the highest-drafted tight end in NFL draft history. That mark stood for 49 years, until the Atlanta Falcons selected Florida tight end Kyle Pitts fourth overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Odoms spent his entire NFL career with Denver.
A four-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro, Odoms finished his career with 396 receptions for 5,755 yards and 41 touchdowns. He is the grandson of Baseball Hall of Famer Biz Mackey. Odoms was inducted into the Broncos' Ring of Fame in 2024.
