Ron Brewer is an American professional basketball player born September 16, 1955, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A 6-foot-4-inch guard, he played collegiately at the University of Arkansas under coach Eddie Sutton, where he was one of the "Triplets" alongside Sidney Moncrief and Marvin Delph. Brewer earned All-American honors in 1978, averaging 18.0 points per game and helping the Razorbacks reach the NCAA Final Four, where he was named to the All-Tournament Team. Selected seventh overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1978 NBA Draft — directly after Larry Bird — he was named to the 1978–79 NBA All-Rookie Team.
