Roosevelt "Rosey" Grier (born July 14, 1932) played defensive tackle in the NFL for 12 seasons, starring for the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams. At Penn State, he earned All-America honors and was later named to the NCAA's list of 100 most influential student athletes. With the Giants, he won the 1956 NFL Championship. In Los Angeles, he became a founding member of the Rams' original "Fearsome Foursome" defensive line. Grier earned two Pro Bowl selections and multiple All-Pro honors across his career.
