Rowland Garrett

Rowland Garrett (born July 16, 1950) is a 6'6" forward from Canton, Mississippi who played college basketball at Florida State University, helping the Seminoles reach the 1972 NCAA Championship Game before falling to UCLA 81–76. The Chicago Bulls selected him 78th overall in the 1972 NBA Draft, and he spent several seasons with the club under coach Dick Motta. In the opening games of the 1975–76 season he posted 51 combined points and 21 rebounds, including a 22-point, 14-rebound effort against Seattle. He was subsequently traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and later the Milwaukee Bucks before being waived prior to the 1977–78 season.
