Frank Rolland Dessau (March 29, 1883 - May 6, 1952). He was a native of New Galilee, Pennsylvania, listed in playing days at 5'11", 175 lbs. He was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed. His major-league career ran from 1907 through 1910, primarily with the Brooklyn Robins of the National League. His broader professional ledger — including minor-league seasons — extends from 1905 through 1926. On the cardboard side, his vintage presence is anchored to the T206 White Border issue, which is where collectors of the period most commonly encounter him. He died on May 6, 1952 in York, Pennsylvania. He is interred at Grove Cemetery in New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
