Rube Oldring (May 30, 1884 – September 9, 1961) was born Reuben Henry and hailed from New York, New York. At 5-foot-10 and 186 pounds, he batted right-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1905 through 1918, a 13-season run, spending most of his career with the Philadelphia Athletics of the American League. He continued to play professionally through 1923 after his major-league career closed. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on E125 American Caramel Die Cuts. He died September 9, 1961 in Bridgeton, New Jersey and is interred at Cohansey Baptist Cemetery in Roadstown, New Jersey.
