Rudy Migay

Rudolph Joseph Migay (November 18, 1928 – January 16, 2016) was a Canadian ice hockey forward who turned professional in 1948. After three seasons with Pittsburgh's American Hockey League club, he joined the Toronto Maple Leafs for a seven-year NHL tenure spanning 1949 to 1959. He later played in Rochester and Denver before moving into coaching, leading the Tulsa Oilers, Amarillo Wranglers, Rochester Americans, and Baltimore Clippers across the AHL and Central Hockey League. He subsequently scouted for the Pittsburgh Penguins before joining the Buffalo Sabres scouting staff, where he remained for 25 years until retiring in 2004.
