Russ Jackson

Rickey Jackson (born March 20, 1958) was a linebacker in the National Football League who spent the bulk of his career with the New Orleans Saints (1981–1993) before finishing with the San Francisco 49ers (1994–1995). A product of Pahokee High School in Pahokee, Florida — where he was later named to the Florida High School Athletic Association's All-Century Team in 2007 — Jackson anchored the Saints' Dome Patrol linebacker corps. He earned a Super Bowl ring with San Francisco in Super Bowl XXIX and was inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame in 1997. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on February 7, 2010.
