Samuel Lee Robinson (born January 1, 1948) is an American former professional basketball player. The 6'7" small forward played college basketball at Pasadena City College and Long Beach State, where he averaged 19.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in 1969–70, helping the program reach its first NCAA Tournament appearance. Robinson became the first Long Beach State player drafted by a professional basketball team, joining the ABA's Floridians. He also holds the distinction of being the first Long Beach State 49er drafted in the NBA, selected by Seattle in 1970, though he never played in that league. Over two ABA seasons he averaged 11.1 points per game and earned ABA All-Rookie Team honors in 1971.
