Stan Jonathan

Stanley Carl "Bulldog" Jonathan (born September 5, 1955) was an Indigenous Canadian professional ice hockey left winger. Selected by the Boston Bruins in the fifth round (86th overall) of the 1975 NHL Entry Draft, Jonathan was personally scouted by coach Don Cherry, who had watched him play for the Peterborough Petes. He appeared in one game during 1975–76 before joining the Bruins full-time the following season, going on to play parts of eight seasons in Boston and appearing in the Stanley Cup Finals in both 1977 and 1978. He finished his NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1982–83.
