Steve Bracey

Steve Bracey (August 1, 1950 – February 14, 2006) was a 6'1" guard from Brooklyn, New York who played three seasons in the NBA. He attended Kilgore Junior College, where he averaged 33.4 points per game as a sophomore and led all junior college scorers. He transferred to the University of Tulsa, earning All-Missouri Valley Conference honors and honorable mention All-American recognition as a senior. Selected 21st overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1972 NBA draft, Bracey spent two seasons in Atlanta before joining the Golden State Warriors, with whom he won an NBA Championship in 1975. He averaged 6.1 points per game over his career.
