Louis Richard "Steve" Evans (February 17, 1885 – December 28, 1943) was a professional baseball player. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He stood 5'10" and weighed 175 pounds, batting and throwing left-handed. He played in the major leagues from 1908 through 1915, primarily with the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL. His broader professional career spanned 1907 to 1917. He appears on E254 Colgan's Chips and T206 White Border. He died on December 28, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
