Theodore Curtis Dean (born February 25, 1938, in Radnor, Pennsylvania) was a running back in the National Football League who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings. He attended Wichita State University, earning All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in his junior and senior seasons. Drafted by Philadelphia in the fourth round of the 1960 NFL Draft, Dean led the NFL in kickoff returns and kickoff return yards as a rookie. He scored the game-winning touchdown for the Eagles in the 1960 NFL Championship Game, an performance that earned him a selection to the 1961 Pro Bowl.
