Terry Crisp

Terrance Arthur "Terry" Crisp, born May 28, 1943, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach. He began in junior hockey with the St. Marys Lincolns of the Western Jr. 'B' Hockey League, and in 1961 edged out Phil Esposito of the Sarnia Legionnaires for the league scoring title. At 17, homesick, he had considered quitting hockey to become a school teacher, but Stan Moore, who coached the B team, followed him on the four-hour trip to his home in Parry Sound and convinced him to return and keep playing.

Crisp played ten seasons in the National Hockey League between 1965 and 1977, suiting up for the Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers. He was a member of two Stanley Cup championship teams with the Flyers during the 1970s.

He went on to coach for 11 seasons in the NHL, with the Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning, leading the Flames to the Stanley Cup title in 1989. Crisp later worked as a radio and television broadcaster for the Nashville Predators, retiring from his broadcast duties at the end of the 2021–22 season.
