Toby Kimball

Thomas "Toby" Kimball (September 7, 1942 – May 2, 2017) was an American professional basketball player. A 6'8" power forward and center, Kimball was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. He played college basketball at the University of Connecticut, where over three seasons he averaged 18.4 points and 17.9 rebounds per game.
Kimball played in the NBA from 1966 to 1975. Over the course of his career he was a member of the Boston Celtics, San Diego Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Kansas City Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, and New Orleans Jazz. He averaged 6.1 points and 6.8 rebounds across his NBA career. His best season was his second, in which he averaged a double-double of 11.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.
Kimball was inducted into the University of Connecticut's "Huskies of Honor" in 2006. He died on May 2, 2017.
