Tord Lundström

Tord Lundström (born 4 March 1945, Kiruna, Sweden) is a retired ice hockey forward who spent the bulk of his career with Brynäs IF, winning the Swedish Championship nine times. He made his Swedish national team debut in November 1963 and went on to appear in 200 international games, including nine IIHF World Championships and the 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics. In 1973 he joined the Detroit Red Wings, becoming the second Swedish forward to score an NHL goal. A shoulder injury cut his North American stint short. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2011.
