Víctor José Davalillo Romero (born July 31, 1939, Venezuela; died December 6, 2023) was a left-handed outfielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1963 to 1980. He appeared for the Cleveland Indians, California Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics, and Los Angeles Dodgers. A leadoff hitter valued for his speed and defense, Davalillo was also recognized as an accomplished pinch hitter. In the Venezuelan Winter League, he is the all-time leader in total base hits and career batting average. Across MLB, the Mexican League, and Venezuelan ball, he accumulated more than 4,100 career base hits over 30 years.
