Wilbert Robinson (June 29, 1864 – August 8, 1934) was an American catcher, coach, and manager in Major League Baseball, nicknamed "Uncle Robbie." Born in Bolton, Massachusetts, he broke into the majors in 1886 with the Philadelphia Athletics and played 1,316 games as a catcher over a career that included stints with two Baltimore Orioles franchises and the St. Louis Cardinals. The star catcher of the Orioles dynasty that won three straight titles from 1894, he later managed the Orioles and Brooklyn Robins. Robinson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945.
