Willie Fleming

Dossier
Willie Fleming (born February 2, 1939) was a halfback who played collegiately at the University of Iowa, earning AP First Team All-Big Ten honors in 1958 and helping the Hawkeyes to a Rose Bowl championship that season. He spent his professional career with the CFL's BC Lions, where his elusive running style earned him the nickname "The Wisp." Fleming's number 15 jersey is one of eight retired by the Lions. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the BC Sports Hall of Fame, was named to the BC Lions All-Time Dream Team in 2003, and was voted among the CFL's Top 50 players of the modern era by TSN in 2006.
