Yves Belanger

Yves Bélanger (born September 30, 1952, in Baie-Comeau, Quebec) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He played junior hockey with the Sherbrooke Castors in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Undrafted by the NHL, he signed with the Cleveland Crusaders of the World Hockey Association before making his NHL debut with the St. Louis Blues in 1974–75. In December 1977 he was traded to the Atlanta Flames as part of a multi-player deal involving Bob MacMillan and Dick Redmond. He played parts of two seasons in Atlanta before finishing his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1979–80.
