George Henry "Admiral" Schlei (January 12, 1878 – January 24, 1958) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. His professional career ran from 1904 through 1911, placing him squarely in the deadball era, and he is most closely identified with the Cincinnati Reds of the NL. After his major-league days ended in 1911, he continued in professional ball through 1915. He was listed at 179 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed.
