Robert Paul Anderson (born March 31, 1938) is an American former football halfback who played in the National Football League for the New York Giants. He played college football at the United States Military Academy, where he was a two-time first-team All-American, rushing for 1,887 yards and 21 touchdowns. He was selected in the ninth round of the 1960 NFL Draft but first served three years as a lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division. After joining the Giants, his playing career was ended by a knee injury.
