Eddie Miksis (September 11, 1926 – April 8, 2005) was an American Major League Baseball infielder and outfielder who played fourteen seasons between 1944 and 1958 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, and Cincinnati Reds. Born in Burlington, New Jersey, he was signed by the Dodgers and made his major league debut in June 1944 at age 17. A right-handed utility man, he played all four infield positions as well as the outfield. He was traded to the Cubs in June 1951. Over 1,042 career games he batted .236 with 44 home runs and 228 runs batted in.
