George Culver

George Raymond Culver (born July 8, 1943) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played from 1966 to 1974 for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Philadelphia Phillies. Pitching for the Reds, he threw a no-hitter on July 29, 1968, in a 6-1 win over the Phillies at Connie Mack Stadium. After his playing career he spent about 30 years as a minor league manager and pitching coach in the Dodgers and Phillies organizations.
