Howie Hughes (died March 26, 2025) was a Canadian ice hockey forward born in the St. Boniface district of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He played 168 games in the National Hockey League for the Los Angeles Kings from 1967 to 1970, joining the team as part of the 1967 NHL expansion. He scored the Kings' first goal at their new home, the Forum in Inglewood, California. His best NHL season came in 1968–69, when he recorded 30 points on 16 goals and 14 assists in 73 games. After his playing career he coached the junior Seattle Ironmen for about 30 years.
