Jim O'Brien

Jim O'Brien (born February 2, 1947) is an American former football placekicker and wide receiver. Born in El Paso, Texas, he was selected by the Baltimore Colts in the third round of the 1970 NFL Draft. He played for the Colts from 1970 to 1972 and the Detroit Lions in 1973. As a rookie, he kicked the game-winning 32-yard field goal with five seconds remaining in Super Bowl V, giving Baltimore a 16-13 win over the Dallas Cowboys. It was the first game-winning field goal in the final seconds of a Super Bowl.
