Johnny Sheppard

Joseph John Oswald Sheppard (July 27, 1902 - August 28, 1969) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League between 1926 and 1934. He played for the Detroit Cougars, New York Americans, Boston Bruins, and Chicago Black Hawks. As a member of the Cougars in their inaugural 1926-27 season, he led the team in goals, assists, points, and penalty minutes. He recorded career highs of 17 goals in 1932-33 and 29 points in 1929-30.
