Richie Hebner (born 1947) is an American former professional baseball third baseman who played in Major League Baseball from 1968 to 1985. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first round of the 1966 draft as a shortstop, he became Pittsburgh's starting third baseman in 1969 and held the position until 1976. He was part of Pirates teams that won five National League East titles between 1970 and 1975 and the 1971 World Series. Over his career he also played for the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, Detroit Tigers, and Chicago Cubs. He recorded 1,694 hits, 203 home runs, and a .276 batting average. He was known for working as a gravedigger in the offseason.
