Terrence Michael Crowley (born February 16, 1947) was an American baseball outfielder, first baseman, and pinch hitter who played in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1983. Drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th round of the 1966 draft out of Long Island University, he played for the Orioles from 1969 to 1973 and 1976 to 1982, also appearing for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and Montreal Expos. A left-handed batter used mainly as a reserve and pinch hitter, he was part of Orioles teams that reached the World Series, winning in 1970, and won a second World Series with Cincinnati. His 108 career pinch hits ranked among the most in MLB history. He was the first Oriole to serve as designated hitter when the rule was introduced.
