Topsy Hartsel, given name Tully Frederick (June 26, 1874 – October 14, 1944). He was born in Polk, Ohio and died in Toledo, Ohio. He stood 5 feet 5 inches and weighed 155 pounds. He batted and threw left-handed. He debuted in the majors in 1898 and played his last big-league season in 1911, a stretch of 14 seasons, primarily with the Philadelphia Athletics of the American League. His full professional career, including the minor leagues, ran from 1897 through 1914.
